In Quibdó, a city with the highest homicide rates in Colombia, Jonathan and hundreds of young people come together through dance, forming the “Black Boys Chocó Dance Company”, to face the brutal fate of violence. The film pays tribute to their act of resilience and to all the lives that have been lost along the way.

״ווגינג״ (voguing) היא תנועת מחול שנוצרה בשנות השמונים שהעניקה העצמה ושייכות בקהילת הלהט״ב העולמית. הסרט עוקב אחר רקדנית טרנסג׳נדר, לסיינדרה נינג׳ה, הידועה בסצנת ה״ווג״ של צרפת. לאחר שבנתה קריירה בנשפים של ניו יורק, צרפת וברזיל, היא שבה למולדתה שבגינאה הצרפתית כדי לחשוף את קהילת הלהט״ב הצעירה לחזון שלה של העצמה אישית וחופש ביטוי באמצעות הגוף.
Voguing is a dance movement that created safe spaces of empowerment and belonging for the LGBT community of color around the world. The film follows a well-known figure in France's vogue scene, professional transgender dancer Lasseindra Ninja, who after pursuing a successful career in the voguing balls of New York, France and Brazil, returns to French Guiana. Her workshop introduces the voguing scene to the budding LGBTQ community of her home country, creating a vision of self-empowerment and freedom of expression through the body.
